What is IAMSS?
The Iowa Association Medical Staff Services, an affiliate of the National Association Medical Staff Services (NAMSS), was founded in 1993 by a group of enthusiastic medical staff service professionals throughout the state. Their objectives in forming the organization were to provide the opportunity for continuing education, to promote the improvement of professional knowledge and skills by uniting persons who are engaged in medical staff activities throughout the state, and to support the mission of the National Association.
The Iowa Association has grown and flourished in both membership and educational opportunities.
IAMSS provides a forum for networking through its services and benefits in the increasingly complex field of medical staff services.
What is the cost of IAMSS membership?
Annual dues for IAMSS membership are $60.
What are the benefits to being a member of IAMSS?

What are the eligibility requirements to be in IAMSS?
Individuals actively involved in credentialing, privileging, practitioner or provider organizations and/or regulatory compliance in the healthcare industry.
Do I have to be certified (CPCS or CPMSM) in order to join IAMSS?
No, a person does not need to be CPCS or CPMSM certified in order to join IAMSS.
